The interaction between the sequence of feeding of hay and concentrate and the hydrothermal processing of barley in alleviating concentrate effects on intake, and hindgut fermentation in horses was tested. Six Arabian mares (4–10 years of age, 410 ± 35 kg body weight) were used to evaluate the effects of feeding sequence (FS) and type of barley (TB) on intake, and faecal volatile fatty acids (VFA), activities of α‐amylase (AA: EC 3.2.1.1), carboxymethyl cellulase (CMCase: EC 3.2.1.4), microcrystalline cellulase (MCCase: EC 3.2.1.91) and general filter paper degrading activity (FPD). Mares were offered a ration of air‐dried alfalfa and concentrate (70:30 as‐fed) in four subsequent periods of 14 days including 8 days of adaptation and 6 days of sampling. In each period and each meal, mares received concentrate either 30 min after (HC) or 30 min before (CH) alfalfa hay. Barley was either milled or boiled in water. Rectal samples were grabbed directly from rectum once per period. Mares subjected to CH had higher dry matter intakes than mares under HC regime. The acetate:propionate ratio (A:P ratio) in rectal content was higher with CH than HC. The AA activity was higher under CH than under HC. Mares fed boiled barley had lower rectal concentrations of VFA and propionate and a higher A:P ratio than mares fed milled barley. Furthermore, the rectal content showed a higher MCCase activity but a lower AA activity when mares were fed boiled compared with milled barley. Interactions between FS and TB were observed with respect to CMCase activity, and concentrations of propionate and valerate. In conclusion, the present results suggest that both, feeding concentrate before hay and boiling the barley, might improve the hindgut environment in Arabian mares, and that the two measures were mostly additive and sometimes even synergistic.  相似文献

The phospholipid class composition, fatty acid composition and phospholipase A1 (PLA1) activity from the ovaries of skipjack tuna were compared with those of six other species of marine fish. In the skipjack ovaries, the lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) proportion for the phospholipid, the docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) percentage for the total fatty acids of the phospholipids and the PLA1 activity of the crude enzyme were the highest among those of the seven species. The optimum pH and temperature for the PLA1 activity of the crude enzyme from the skipjack ovaries were in the range of pH 6–7 and 20–30°C, respectively, and calcium ions were not required. As a substrate, phosphatidylcholine was more easily hydrolyzed than phosphatidylethanolamine by this enzyme, and the plasmalogen-type phospholipid was much lower than the acyl-type phospholipid. After a 6-h hydrolysis reaction of the purified phospholipid extracted from the mixed ovaries of skipjack and yellowfin tuna by this enzyme, the LPC ratio of the phospholipid increased from 20 to 72.6% and the percentage of DHA for the total fatty acids of the phospholipid also increased. Thus, skipjack ovaries might possibly be used as a source of PLA1.  相似文献

  1. Although the frequency of occurrence of plastic ingestion in the large-sized dolphinfish and tunas taken by the Hawai'i longline fishery is very low (frequency of occurrence < 5% of sampled individuals), the ingestion of plastic in smaller-sized specimens caught with pole-and-line gear by commercial and recreational fishers has not been investigated.
  2. This study examined ingestion of >0.25 mm marine plastic debris (MPD) by four predatory fish species caught by commercial fishers around the Main Hawaiian Islands, and documented ingestion in three species: 85.7% of albacore tuna (n = 7), 40.0% of skipjack tuna (n = 10) and 12.5% of dolphinfish (n = 8).
  3. Yellowfin tuna (n = 10) did not contain any MPD, probably owing to the high proportion of empty stomachs (60%).
  4. For skipjack tuna, the frequency of occurrence of MPD ingestion was significantly higher for the smaller-sized specimens caught with pole-and-line (40%), compared with the larger-sized specimens caught with longlines (0%).
  5. For dolphinfish, the frequency of occurrence of MPD ingestion was similar for the similar-sized specimens caught with pole-and-line and with longlines.
  6. The ingested MPD items were micro–meso plastics, between 1 and 25 mm. While most ingested items were fragments, albacore also ingested line and skipjack also ingested sheets.
  7. The predatory fishes ingested light MPD items that float in sea water, but there were species-specific differences in their polymer composition: albacore contained more polypropylene and polyethylene, and skipjack contained more elastomers, characterized by a high percentage of ester plasticizers.
  8. Altogether, these results suggest that albacore and skipjack tunas ingest plastic of different types and polymers. Yet more research is needed to understand how differences in vertical distribution, foraging ecology and diet influence the MPD sampled by these predatory fish species.

对黑龙江省51个生产应用品种和中试品种(系)稻米的碾米品质,外现品质、蒸煮食味品质等9项指标进行了分析,测定结果表明,达国家优质米一般标准最高的是糊化温度(达标率100%)、达省优质米一级标准最高的是精米率,达标率97.05%),无论国标还是省标,达标率最低的垩白米率(达标率9.62%),通过相关分析得知,糙米率与精米率、精半率与整精米率达极显著正相关而且二者均与外观品质呈负相关,直链淀粉含量与胶稠度是极显著负相关。同时探讨了我省稻米品质,改良的重点及途径。  相似文献

为了研究活性炭对金枪鱼酶解液脱色的最佳条件,本文利用活性炭对金枪鱼暗色肉酶解液进行处理,研究活性炭添加量、pH值、温度(T)和脱色时间(t)对脱色率和蛋白质损失率的影响,采用正交试验对脱色工艺进行优化,同时探究了活性炭脱色工艺对酶解液腥味物质和金属元素含量的影响.结果表明,金枪鱼暗色肉酶解液最佳脱色条件为活性炭添加量3%、pH值3.0、温度70℃、时间1h.该条件下脱色率为89.77%±0.77%,蛋白质损失率为13.47%±0.72%;脱色后酶解液挥发性物质含量降低了85.39%,其中三甲胺、己醛、壬醛等特征腥味物质显著降低;活性炭对Pb的吸附作用较明显,其吸附率为93.2%,而对其他金属元素的吸附率不大.研究表明,经过活性炭处理过的酶解液颜色浅,腥味低,具有一定的应用前景,可为酶解液的进一步利用提供依据.  相似文献

天然鱼蛋白乳化性不佳,难以满足实际生产需求,但鱼蛋白的酶解改性可改善其功能特性,并拓展应用范围。以鲣鱼白色肉为原料,以水解度和乳化性为主要指标,比较了不同蛋白酶(胰蛋白酶、风味蛋白酶、木瓜蛋白酶)和水解时间对酶解液制备和鱼蛋白乳化性的影响,优化了酶解工艺参数。将鱼蛋白进行冷冻干燥后,分析鱼蛋白酶解前后溶解性、乳化性和起泡性等功能特性的差异。结果表明,当胰蛋白酶添加量2 000 U·g-1,酶解10 min时,鱼蛋白水解度(DH)达到8.2%,此时鱼蛋白乳化特性最佳。与酶解前样品相比,酶解后鱼蛋白的乳化活性和乳化稳定性显著提高,其溶解度、起泡性和起泡稳定性均有一定程度的改善。酶解制备的鲣鱼蛋白在广泛pH范围内具有更好的功能性质,在食品工业具有更高的应用价值。  相似文献

研究水煮和提取处理对中草药干物质消化率和小肠可消化蛋白质的影响,揭示提取过程对营养价值影响的作用机理,对于客观评定中草药提取残渣的营养价值具有重要意义。采用尼龙袋试验分别测定黄芪、麦芽和甘草3种原料及其经水煮和提取处理后产物的瘤胃降解动力学参数,并分别估算其主要养分在瘤胃的有效降解率(effective degradability,ED);采用移动尼龙袋试验分别测定3种原料及其经水煮和提取处理后产物瘤胃未降解干物质(nondegradable dry matte,UDM)和未降解蛋白质(nondegradable protein,UDP)的小肠消化率(intestinal digestibility,Idg),在此基础上分别估算其干物质消化率(dry matter digestibility,DDM)和小肠可消化粗蛋白质(intestinal digestible crude protein,IDCP)含量。结果表明:1)3种中草药经水煮和提取处理后产物的EDDM(effective degradability of dry matter)和EDCP(effective degradability of crude protein)均分别显著低于其未处理原料(P<0.05),但EDNDF(effective degradability of NDF)和EDADF(effective degradability of ADF)均分别显著高于其未处理原料(P<0.05);2)3种中草药经水煮和提取处理后产物的IdgUDM(intestinal digestibility of UDM)和IdgUDP(intestinal digestibility of UDP)均显著高于其未处理原料(P<0.05);3)水煮处理显著提高了3种中草药处理后产物的DDM(P<0.05),显著提高了麦芽处理后产物的IDCP和IDCP/CP,提取处理显著提高了麦芽提取残渣的DDM、IDCP和IDCP/CP(P<0.05),显著降低了甘草提取残渣的IDCP和IDCP/CP和黄芪的IDCP(P<0.05)。在无特殊需求时完全没有必要对饲料进行水煮处理;麦芽提取残渣具有作为优质精饲料的营养潜力;黄芪和甘草提取残渣具有作为优质粗饲料的营养潜力。  相似文献
